Value for Money

Unli coffee to those who loves coffee and there is clean water dispenser and has private CR. Location is very near Lolo Nonoy's resto. Accessible to seaport and groceries stores. Few meters away to the main road. Aircon is good enough coldness. Room is very huge

Dont expect too much in coron transients. Go to hotels if u want complete ammenities.

Love how friendly and accommodating Ate Marian is. A big, budget-friendly room that suits a backpackers need. Everything is basic but definitely worth the money. Very good location too!

The owner is friendly and kind.

The room was smelly, the bathroom was not so clean, the wifi was ok but only when you ask the owner (if not it's too weak to do anything. Everytime we needed to use internet, we had to ask the owner to fix the problem)

A big room.

No hot water. Constantly yelling roosters !!! They are right behind the wall. A separate entrance was designated, but it was not there. Little light in the room.

The family were lovely and left us to get on with it.

The family were lovely and left us to get on with it. However if you needed anything they would be there to help! Able to book scooters or boat trips if needed through them.

Little out of town however not a far walk. Just meant you were away from the hustle and bustle. Lost electricity and water one day but this is what you expect from island living!

Cheapest room yet comfortable

The host is so accomodating and nice!We don't have to worry about our tour because they have suggested packages that is excellent for our vacation.

I cant think anything that I dont like in the place,but don't expect that it is like any 5 star hotel.

What was the highlight of MARIAH Transient

Recommended.

Recommended. Good value for money. May not look modern or sleek but what's necessary and basic were there. The room was spacious, had AC and extra fan, had plenty of power sockets around the room, full body mirror and open shelf to put your stuff. Towels and toilet paper were provided. Owner Ms Marian and her children were kind and accommodating with our requests. They were flexible with our check-in and check-out hours. The inn had a water dispenser available so you can refill your own tumbler as needed. Hot water for hot beverages can also be requested. Good location and walking distance to the St Augustine Catholic church, a BPI branch (bank) and a few restaurants, stores and eateries. Stayed in the Quadruple Room for 2 nights (Oct 2018).

Expect low water pressure from the shower. Bathroom was a bit dark and wash sink needs some good scrubbing but otherwise everything's functioning as expected. We did hear the nearby roosters crowing as we were about to sleep (Day 1) but thankfully it only lasted for about 2 minutes.

We had a great stay here!

Ms.Marian, the owner are very accomodating, room is big, price and breakfast are great! As well as the tours that we booked from her. Will definitely book again here when we go back to Coron!

Low shower flow but she explained to us why.

The owner was very friendly , kind and helpful .

The owner was very friendly , kind and helpful .We had some talk of our life’s too. She offered me coffee in the morning. There is a common area outside room where one can sit and they didn’t mind. I sat at the benches outside her small garden area where one can enjoy roadside view with fresh air in the evening. I loved that and her children smiling faces when they look at me. Extreme hospitality. Spacious room. Ok location.

Wifi wasn’t working. Too slow. I couldn’t use that for a sec. The insects . Although she sprayed insecticide but I think she should really do something for insects and flies which came specially at night. It could bother to someone like me a lot. The ants at night were moving around my bed and I was scared when I saw them near my pillow. Water wasn’t almost not coming from tap. Shower water was flow was also slow.

-big rooms with really good air con

-big rooms with really good air con -chairs to sit on and towels provided -free water refills -10 min walk into the city, maybe 5 minutes to some decent restaurants. -expect very basic rooms -can book tours and ferry transfers here

-we had room 1 and there were 3 roosters right outside, we were up from 5AM each day -got nailed by bed bugs on the last night :(, they still itch 2 weeks later. Would be okay but still had 4 weeks travel left and had to do a huge laundry load to rid them off me. -booked here because they had a free airport transfer, turned out it wasnt free and cost the standard 150php (It is removed from page now so its ok) -toilet could do with quite a bit of a big wipe down
